Admissions

As a maintained school, all admissions to Eton Wick are processed and managed through the local authority, RBWM. For information related to all RBWM school admissions, please see the RBWM Website.

Each year, prior to Reception admissions, we offer a range of opportunities to come and see our school. There are both morning and afternoon sessions which will give you an opportunity to see our school in action. We also offer stay and play sessions.

If you have missed our open day sessions, you van boo a 1:1 tour through the school office at any time during the school year.

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below. 

If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022 they will be due to start Reception in September 2026.  Children born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023 will start Reception in September 2027.

Parents are invited to visit the school for a tour and the opportunity to meet our Headteacher, Miss Karen Waller.  We offer 4 open afternoons/open mornings between September and January each academic year, but for times outside of this, 1:1 sessions can be booked through the school office. We are always delighted to show prospective parents around, and to answer any questions you may have.

Applications for Nursery places:

Admission to the Eton Wick Nursery is dealt with by the school admin team.  An application form can be downloaded from this page or obtained by contacting the school office.  Please complete the form and return it to us with a copy of your child’s birth certificate.

Children can enter Nursery the term after their third birthday. We have three intakes per year: September, January and April and we offer both 15 hour (5 mornings a week) and 30 hour sessions.

Places in Nursery are offered in accordance with the Foundation Stage Admission Criteria.  Please see our Nursery Admissions Policy.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead admissions team deals centrally with all applications from children of statutory school age for all the Borough’s schools:

The admissions window for children starting Reception in September 2026 has now closed.  If you would like to make a late application please see the RBWM Admissions website.  If you are not a resident of RBWM, please apply via your own local authority.
