Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to our school.

We are a one-form entry Church of England school, set in wonderful countryside on the outskirts of Eton. We offer school places from Nursery (including 30-hour funding), up to Year 4.

Our school vision is at the heart of everything that we do at Eton Wick.

We are all growing, developing and learning; Achieving Success in a Caring Community.

‘A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering...seed fell on good soil.

Eton Wick is an inclusive school where pupils are encouraged to be safe, act responsibly and aim high.  We ensure that all pupils in our school have equal access to a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring that children are fully included in all aspects of school life.  We embrace diversity and promote equality and equity; making reasonable adjustments to remove barriers to learning.

We instil in our children a love of learning which we hope will remain with them for life. Alongside our vision are our Christian values which empower our pupils to develop their spirituality and guide them in personal development as effective learners and good citizens,..

We teach our children the importance of having a ‘Growth Mindset’. This way of thinking teaches children the importance of perseverance, the need for resilience and the rewards that await when we challenge ourselves and ‘have a go’. This approach underpins all that we do at Eton Wick and enables our children to flourish both inside and outside of the classroom as we encourage the children to challenge themselves at every stage of their learning.

We have a committed team of staff who are dedicated to delivering creative and engaging lessons, at the centre of which can be found quality, personalised learning in a safe and stimulating environment, both indoor and outdoors.

We hold close links with Eton College, with whom we take part in a range of additional curricular enrichment opportunities during the year, including Latin and music.

The children at Eton Wick are simply wonderful; enthusiastic about their learning, and keen to share their successes with their Growth Mindset approach to all new challenges.  We enjoy a weekly celebration assembly, to which parents and carers are invited, where we draw upon and celebrate the children’s achievements each week.

If you would like to hear more about our school or to arrange a visit, please send an email to: office@etonwickschool.org.uk, or call us on: 01753 860096, and I would be delighted to give you further information, and to show you around.
