Personal, Social & Health Education (PSHE)
Our PSHE curriculum is delivered through the Jigsaw programme, a carefully structured, whole-school approach that supports every child’s personal, social and emotional development from Reception onwards. Through six termly themes — Being Me in My World, Celebrating Difference, Dreams and Goals, Healthy Me, Relationships, and Changing Me — children learn how to understand and manage their emotions, build positive friendships, stay safe (including online), make healthy choices and develop resilience. Lessons are age-appropriate and meet all statutory requirements for Relationships and Health Education.

At Eton Wick, Jigsaw reflects and strengthens our whole-school values and vision. It helps children to show respect, take responsibility for their actions, celebrate diversity, demonstrate kindness and develop the confidence to aim high. By teaching pupils how to communicate effectively, resolve conflict calmly and understand both their rights and responsibilities, we prepare them not only for the next stage of their education, but for life in modern Britain.
